What Are UV DTF Transfers & Gang Sheets?

UV DTF transfers are full colour adhesive decals printed using UV-cured inks. Unlike standard garment DTF, they do not need a heat press and are applied directly onto hard surfaces. They are ideal for products such as bottles, cups, packaging, acrylic, glass, plastic, metal, notebooks and promotional items. UV DTF gives a sharp, vibrant and durable finish, making it perfect for brands, printers and businesses wanting a professional look without specialist equipment. How to Apply UV DTF Transfers

UV DTF transfers are applied by hand and do not require a heat press. Start by making sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or moisture. Carefully peel away the backing film to expose the adhesive side of the transfer.Position the transfer onto your item, then press down firmly across the full design. Use your fingers or a squeegee to rub over the artwork, making sure all areas have bonded properly to the surface. Once the design has been fully pressed down, slowly peel away the top carrier film. Your UV DTF decal will be left applied to the product with a vibrant, durable finish.For best results, avoid applying to rough, dusty, oily or heavily textured surfaces.

Orders placed before 12pm , Monday to Friday, are usually printed the same day and dispatched on a next working day delivery service. Orders placed after 12pm, over the weekend or on bank holidays will be processed on the next working day. For larger orders over 50 metres, same-day dispatch may not always be possible. If you are placing a large order, we recommend contacting our customer service team first so we can confirm the expected turnaround time. Please note: delivery times are based on courier services and may be affected by delays outside of our control.

For the best print results, please supply your artwork as a high-resolution file. We recommend: File types: PNG, PDF, EPS or AI Colour mode: CMYK where possible Gang sheet size: 570mm x 1000mm per metre Fonts: Outlined Linked images: Embedded Background: Transparent where required. You do not need to mirror your artwork, as we will do this before printing. Please check your artwork carefully before ordering. We do not carry out full artwork checks before production, so your order will be printed as supplied. Any unwanted backgrounds, low-resolution files, spelling mistakes or sizing issues may appear on the final print.
